No. Without the bridge the cubes will have several limitations such as:
• Limited range of control (Bluetooth only)
• Slower response time
• Scheduling feature is not available
• No Alexa/Google commands
Adding your Smart Cube Lights to the Smart Bridge is essential to have access to all app/device features.
Yes, the cubes are waterproof (IP65)
No, the Smart Bridge is meant to be kept in a dry space (indoors)
During the initial setup, all cube lights should be as close as possible to the Smart Bridge. It’s recommended to bring your Smart Cubes near the bridge to avoid any signal issues.
For example: If you were able to connect Cube Light 1 but is having problems with 2, it could be a signal/range issue.
1. Unplug the Smart Bridge from the current location and bring it as close as possible to the Cube Light 2
2. Plug the Smart Bridge and wait a few seconds until it’s back online.
3. Confirm that the cube light you want to add is flashing white. If not, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.
4. Select your Smart Bridge on the Atomi Smart app home screen and press ‘Add New Device’. The Cube Light 2 should be detected. (If the lights were already added before, you can select ‘Add Existing Device’)
5. You can now control your cube lights.
For Smart Bridge: Make sure that your phone’s Bluetooth is turned ON and the permission settings are allowing the app to connect via Bluetooth.
For Smart Cube Lights: Press and hold the “Mode” button until the light starts flashing to reset your device
In order to connect multiple lights and control with the Atomi Smart app you are required to create a group.
– On the Atomi Smart app, select one of the lights that you’ve added
– Press the top right button (Pencil icon)
– Press “Create Group” and select all the lights you want to group
– Press “Save”. You can now control all your Smart Cube Lights simultaneously!
The Smart Cube can hold up to 440lb. Note: Do NOT exceed the limit or climb on the Cube
Make sure that you’ve added the lights to the Smart Bridge.
The lights will not work properly if they were not added to the Smart Bridge.
Use your smartphone to confirm that you have at least two WiFi bars in the vicinity of your Atomi Smart device. If not, move your Atomi Smart device closer to your router. (The list will refresh every 10 seconds).
Make sure that you have entered the correct WiFi password during setup. Check if there are problems with your internet connection. If the WiFi signal is too weak, reset your WiFi router and try again.
Refresh the device list.
Force quit and re-launch the Atomi Smart app.
To reset the WiFi without losing your Atomi Smart devices settings, hold down the power button and wait for the LED to change from amber to blinking white, then release. When the LED begins to alternate white and amber, follow steps 3-5 to associate your Atomi Smart device with your new network.

OMG, bought a few of these for my teen’s neon-themed 80s party. They were such a hit! Made our backyard so magical and cool :-). I still use them with the white light, but so great for special occasions. You don’t really need balloons and disposable decorations when your furniture is the decorations! BTW, turning them off or on using the app is a lifesaver. My phone died once and I went around turning them off manually. No bueno. Love the app, and highly recommend these cute cubes!
