Atomi App Requirements

For the Atomi app to work effectively, there are a few basic requirements for your smart device. The first requirement is your smartphone or device’s operating system. For the iPhone, the app requires an iPhone 8 or higher and an iOS 8 or higher. Any previous iPhone or iOS may experience slower connections. For Android users, use 4.1x or higher. The next requirement is WiFi. Please note that the app only supports a WiFi connection of 2.4GHz. This frequency connects over longer distances anywhere in your home and won’t interfere with the commonly-used 5GHz frequency for other devices. If you do not have a 2.4GHZ network, the Atomi Smart 2.4GHz Converter easily and efficiently converts your existing router’s 5GHz signal to a 2.4GHz signal so that you can connect your Atomi Smart devices to the app. Simply plug it into a power outlet near your router and seamlessly go from 5GHz to 2.4GHz and back again with an uninterrupted connection. It is also equipped with dual antennas to improve the signal strength so the connection remains strong throughout your home. The Smart WiFi Converter works with most wireless routers, gateways, or cable modems with WiFi for easy connectivity.
